Malachi 3:10 “Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test Me in this, says the Lord Almighty, and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it.“
2 Corinthians 9:7 “Each one should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.“
When we mention giving, in a church context, we are referring to the total stewardship of resources God has blessed and entrusted to us. Therefore, stewardship involves the sharing of our time, talents, and tithe (money), to carry out the ministry of the church. There are ways to share your time and talents; music misistry, childcare, children’s church, Women of the Church, outreach, teaching, etc.) in the life and ministry of our church. In regards to money, the tithe (one tenth) of our income is the Old Testament standard. Everyone can give a tithe, as the Lord asks, based on your income and what you decide in your heart.
Our church desires to help our individuals and families navigate through this life, especially in difficult times like we have had with the COVID pandemic, to fulfill their obligations and desires to glorify God! It is with that thought in mind that we have set up this method of “online” giving for those who would like to take advantage of it.
